Empower - Automate - Innovate : Healthcare Strategy Forum
13th & 14th October 2015

Healthcare Strategy Forum Autumn 2014 Highlights

Introducing The Event

The Government has produced a set of policies which herald the most far reaching changes within the NHS since its inception in 1948. The White Paper published on July 12 2010 began to give some detail about the new landscape but left many areas unclear with a strong implication that the government expects people, not government to create ‘Big Society’.

In addition, major changes to the core structure of the NHS were introduced in April 2013. PCTs and SHAs are now replaced by CCGs. Simultaneously, CSUs were created to run IT, ICT and other essential support functions to sustain the day-to-day operations of the CCGs. This has resulted in a paradigm shift in the general working of the NHS and going by the Health Secretary’s plans for the future, there are more significant changes to come in the next 12 months.

As a healthcare professional, how are you coping with current and emerging change? How will it impact your role and responsibilities? How can you be better prepared for further budget cuts?

The Healthcare Strategy Forum once again promises to deliver a full circle of innovative and interactive workshops, presentations and one to one networking opportunities over a two day format. Since the event is ’invitation only‘ you can be assured of the seniority of peers in attendance. Our research led event production process ensures we deliver the most up to date and relevant topics and presentations from well known industry figureheads. Two days time investment is all you need to ensure you walk away with a significant amount of information to take back to your organisation to add real value and make the time invested extremely worthwhile.

Carden Park Hotel 13th & 14th October 2015

Carden Park Hotel

Carden Park Hotel is located within 1000 acres of stunning Cheshire countryside, with a mile long drive leading through the Nicklaus golf course, just one of the two championship golf courses onsite it truly is Cheshire’s Country Estate.

The history of Carden Park really starts when the land was acquired in the early 17th century by the Leche Family. An elegant Hall was built and the grounds of the park landscaped and stocked with deer. The Hall was ransacked by Cromwell’s troops but survived and continued to be inhabited. In 1912, the main Hall burnt down in a fire, allegedly after someone dropped a cigarette at a party. Photographs of the Hall show a highly decorated timber framed building, reprised in the rebuilt Resort which you see today.
